Hon’s Wun-Tun House is my favorite Chinese restaurant in San Francisco Chinatown. They serve the best noodles, dumplings, dim sum and more.
Here is what I usually order:
a). Signature wonton noodle soup
b). Salt and pepper chicken wings,
c). Pork and preserved egg congee
d). Shanghai soup dumpling
e). Sichuan spicy dumpling
f). Chef’s special fried rice
g). Combination chow mein
h). Seafood pan fried noodle
i). Mongolian beef
j). Sweet and sour pork spareribs
k).Sauteed calamari w/ XO sauce
l). Mapo tofu
l). And if you’re feeling adventurous, fried pork intestine with chili pepper
Of course I won’t order all of these, but I mix it up whenever I crave for their food. I am quite adventurous with food. The fried pork intestine is my favorite.
Make sure to beat the lunch and dinner rush otherwise, you might be waiting up to 30-45 minutes to be seated.
There is another Hun’s Wonton not very far from this location (at Kearny St.) but I find this branch better.
